The UK Branch of Heavenly Culture, World Peace & Restoration of Light recently had held two meetings of various faith leaders for a dialogue on understanding the scriptures of different faiths. The main points for the discussion were:
- Origins of scriptures and how and when these were committed to writing
- Origin of the faith, cause for it, and when will it end
Dr Harshad Sanghrajka OBE, Deputy Chair of the Institute of Jainology had attended the meetings as the UK Jain representative.
Chris Matthews, the UK Regional manager of HWPL commented: “The meetings were an extremely insightful time of uniting together with religious leaders to look even deeper at the foundations of our religious scriptures. Yet again, the audience feedback we received was incredibly positive, especially through the testimonials we heard, it clearly shows many are being inspired and impacted by this work
of peace”.
He then thanked all the participants for their presence and open heart to learn from one another and inspire the next generation!
