Kumarpal Desai, Managing Trustee of the Institute of Jainology, India, and Director of Gujarati Vishwakosh, has been awarded the prestigious Ranjitram Gold Medal.
The award was founded by Gujarat Sahitya Sabha and is considered the highest literary award in Gujarati literature. The award is named after renowned Gujarati writer Ranjitram Mehta.
The award was presented on the 7th January 2017 in Ahmedabad, India.
The directors of the Institute of Jainology (UK) congratulated Kumarpalbhai on his achievements and on being recognised by this award.
