The OneJAIN Community Excellence Awards are an initiative of the Jain organisations in the UK to recognise the dedication, commitment and enterprise of those members that provide exceptional selfless service to the Jain or wider community.
Two prestigious OneJAIN Awards will be presented to two individuals this year for their outstanding contribution to community service.
The OneJAIN Community Excellence Award 2020 for any eligible nominee
and
The OneJAIN Young Achievers Award 2020 to specifically recognise a young individual (aged 40 or under) for their outstanding contribution to any voluntary service including work undertaken in their profession (i.e. mentoring others as part of a diversity programme, running voluntary clinics for medical and legal professionals etc). Top nominations will be eligible to attend a networking dinner event.
Winners and Highly Commended Nominees will be recognised at a special ceremony at the House of Commons during the Mahavir Jayanti Celebrations event.
You can nominate someone you know who meets the criteria or nominate/apply for the award for your own service.
Please do make time to nominate someone, and encourage others to do so. It is a worthwhile effort, a form of anumodana and will motivate others to offer service to the community.
