This lecture is presented with the aid of Powerpoint slides in English. and discussion in English peppered with Gujarati where essential. It attempts to clarify the Vaishnav and Jain beliefs on the philosophy of death and the last rites. Its main aim is to remove superstitions and fears of the activities which are performed without understanding the reasons for doing so.
This lecture has been well received in Singapore, Malaysia, and N W London and Nairobi where over 500 people attended the lecture at the Oshwal Centre.
